Red Health

If you ONLY get red smilies

Then you have a problem with one (or more) of four things:

  • Java
  • Your settings may also be causing red smilies...
  • Your software firewall might be configured not to allow Vuze traffic
  • Your ISP may be filtering / blocking / throttling bittorrent traffic preventing you from communicating with trackers. You might
    1. check the list of known 'bad' ISPs and
    2. perhaps consider encryption options for Vuze traffic.
  • Your Azureus config file may be corrupted. You might maybe clear the settings.
